Rawalpindi - A woman was allegedly raped by two men within the limits of Police Station Waris Khan, informed sources yesterday.

The rape accused also injured the woman with a blade after raping her, sources added. Police registered a case against the accused and started investigation.

According to sources, a woman namely RP told police that her elder sister works in a beauty parlour. She said that she went to the parlour to drop her sister when a clash occurred between her and the parlour owner. She added that she was returning home when two men Yousaf Pathan and Muddasir Chaudhary intercepted her and offered their help to settle dispute with the parlour owner. “The men took me to a house where they raped me and later injured me with a blade,” she said. RP sought legal action against the accused.

Taking action police registered a case against the accused and started investigation.

On the other hand, Naeem Advocate told police station Civil Line officials that he was parking his car in his garage at 11:00pm when two unidentified dacoits riding on a motorcycle arrived and one of them pointed pistol at his head. Later, the dacoits snatched Rs 45,000 and a mobile phone from him and fled towards Lalazar. Police penned in the case and started searching the dacoits.
