‘Punjab Ease’ helpline portal finalised

LAHORE - Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal chaired a meeting at Punjab Board of Investment and Trade on Friday. The “Punjab Ease” helpline portal has been finalised to facilitate investors. Chief Minister Punjab will inaugurate the helpline portal in the first week of August. Mian Aslam Iqbal appreciated PBIT for Ease Helpline Portal. All business information for investors will be available on the helpline portal and they will not need to visit offices to solve problems, he said. Relevant departments will resolve the complaint received on the portal within seven days. The department, which did not resolve the grievance within the stipulated time, would have to give a proper reason, he added. Punjab Investment Board CEO Dr Erfa Iqbal said that an effective system for monitoring the performance of the portal has been developed. Additional Secretary Commerce, Chief Operating Officer Punjab Board of Investment and concerned officers attended the meeting.
