ISLAMABAD - Federal Minister for Sports Najimuddin Khan and Director General Pakistan Sports Board Muhammad Anwar Khan have jointly conveyed their felicitations to the national hockey team, captain and other officials on winning the Sentanta four-nation hockey tournament which was held at Dublin from June 11-15. The minister, in his message, that Pakistan had a unique record as it had won all major international titles in the past. He said the government was committed to providing every possible financial and other facilities to PHF to revive the golden era of hockey. They hoped that green shirts would continue their successes in future the PHF will prepare a strong squad for participation in the Beijing Olympics 2008, which will be staged from August 8 to 24.
