LAHORE (PPI) - Three hundred TEVTA teachers have been trained by foreign experts and resource persons of City and Guilds International, UK TEVTA in collaboration with City and Guilds. Besides, 13 technologies at 24 selected TEVTA Institutes across the province of Punjab have been launched in first phase. These courses include Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Aided Design & Drafting (Civil), Computer Aided Design & Drafting (Mechanical), Technician Award in Engineering, Metal Machining, Electrical Installation, Auto CAD, Construction Industry, Quantity Surveyor, Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and Motor Vehicle Engineering. It was stated by Chairperson TEVTA Saeed Ahmad Alvi on the occasion of certificate distribution ceremony of City and Guilds Courses at Govt. College of Technology Railway Road. Chief Operating Officer Muhammad Abid Javaid, Member TEVTA Board Asim Qadri, Manager Operations City and Guilds Asad Warriach, TEVTA officers and large number of teachers were also present on the occasion. He said that during the last two years, TEVTA has achieved several historical milestones. Amongst those, one is the collaboration with internationally accredited certification body City & Guilds Int.
