Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that terrorist attacks cannot make a dent in the resolve of Pakistani nation to defeat the evil once for all.

He reiterated that such dastardly acts cannot weaken the resolve of the nation to continue struggle against extremism and militancy till its logical conclusion.

In his message issued here on Sunday, Kh Asif strongly condemned the attack on the Ziarat Residency and bomb blast in Quetta, in which 23 people were martyred by terrorists. He termed the blasts and attack as “cowardly and inhuman acts” and expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families.

Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Law and Justice Zahid Hamid also regretted over the gory incident in which 23 people had been martyred in an attack on Bolan Medical Complex in Quetta on Saturday.

In Ziarat Residency, father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah spent his last days.

The federal Ministers said that the PML-N government was committed to weeding out terrorism from the country and was making effective measures to curb the menace of terrorism by taking the nation into confidence over this crucial issue, in this regard.
