PTI has warned the Punjab government of strong protests if it fails to present a pro-people budget on Monday (today), providing relief to the poor and middle class persons.

Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, PTI leader and possible Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly warned the provincial government while chairing a meeting of party’s MPs on Sunday.  He warned that PTI would stage protests inside and outside the provincial legislature if the government fails to provide the masses relief in budget.

Mehmood claimed that PTI would prove itself as the real Opposition in the Punjab Assembly and not let the PML-N to use the public funds on its adventurous projects in the name of public service.  Meanwhile, PTI Punjab chapter leadership during a party meeting passed a resolution condemning the attack on Quaid-i-Azam’s residency in Ziarat, Quetta Bolan College and bomb attack on girl students bus.  They also prayed for the victims who died in the bus attack.

PTI leadership stressed upon the Federal and Balochistan governments to resolve the issue of Balochistan through dialogue.  Addressing the party leaders and workers on this occasion, Ijaz Chaudhry, PTI Punjab President and General Secretary, Dr Yasmin Rashid said that both the Federal and provincial governments of Balochistan should utilise their joint efforts to resolve the Balochistan issue soon to bring permanent peace and calm in the life of the Baloch people.
