In 2013, Pakistanis have voted for change. This change is necessitated and deeply awaited in every sphere of life including; law and order, health facilities, provision of quality education, employment opportunities, access to justice, business environment and tax policies.

Aimed huge expectations from the masses, the new Government in Islamabad will table the Federal Budget 2013-14 in the second week of June 2013. During the recent past, the nation was bracing itself for heavy tax measures planned to be introduced by way of a Presidential Ordinance.

While the financial press and rumor mill constantly releasing inside stories purporting to suggest that such planned measures are to be incorporated in the upcoming Finance Bill 2013, the business community expects bold but right decisions from the Government this time aimed at uplifting the sluggish business environment across the country. Thus, this year the Federal Budget is certainly poised to mark as an important National event.
