Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI) Karachi Secretary General Maulana Muhammad Ghayas has said that the change of government will not change the law and order situation in Karachi.

He condemned the law-enforcement agencies raids and arrest of JUI workers from various parts of the City.

He expressed these views while addressing a Press conference at Karachi Press Club on Sunday. 

Maulana Ghayas said that law-enforcement agencies has started raids against JUI workers and has arrested many of party workers from the various parts of the City. He said that people hoped that newly elected government will play their role in maintaining law and order in City but the government is working with the same agenda.

He said that Rangers officials were not interested in listening to our views and registering fake cases against our party workers. 

He demanded the authorities to stop such acts against the party workers on immediate basis ,otherwise, the party will hold protest demo against law-enforcement agencies.

JUI leaders Maulana Gul Muhammad Thanvi, Maulana Syed Hammadullah Shah and Maulana Umer Sadiq were also present on the occasion.
