Nizami flays Ziarat attack

LAHORE  - TheNation Editor-in-Chief and Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Chairman Majid Nizami has condemned the sacrilegious attack on the Quaid-i-Azam Residency in Ziarat.
Presiding over the combine session of the office bearers of the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Forums from all over the country and the advisory council of the Trust at Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan here on Sunday, Majid Nizami said NPT workers wanted to transform Pakistan into a modern Islamic, democratic and welfare state in conformity with the vision of the Quaid-i-Azam and AIlama Muhammad Iqbal.
“Food, clothing and shelter are the basic needs of every poor person. May God provide Pakistan with leaders who have perspicacity and sagacity, who follow the teaching of the Quaid-i-Azam and Allama Muhammad Iqbal. The ideological education must be made part of the curriculum. The Hindus and the Muslims are two separate nations and will always be so. If we don’t complete the construction of the Kalabagh Dam, we shall have to import our food from abroad. We must declare a holy war Jihad in ordered to liberate Kashmir,” held the veteran editor.
Nizami observed that, by the grace of God, the NPT had achieved stupendous success and popularity and enlightened hundreds of thousands of young students about the two-nation theory, the rationale, causes and aims of the creation of Pakistan. He remarked that the success of this noble mission gave him real happiness. He, however, regretted that the havoc played by the terrorist activities made him so sad.
He severely condemned the sacrilegious attack on the Ziarat Residency associated with the last days of the Quaid-i-Azam’s life. He reminisced that he had visited this building of historic importance. He expressed his grief over the maltreatment meted out to the Father of the Nation when the ambulance broke down on the way and he had to suffer a lot for a considerably long span of time. He also condemned the terrorist attack on the girl-students of the Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University and the Bolan Medical Complex in Quetta.
He observed that it was the duty of the government to provide masses with the basic necessities. He prayed that God may bless the country with leaders having perspicacity and sagacity, who can transform Pakistan into a modern, Islamic, democratic and welfare state in confronting with the vision of the Quaid-i-Azam and Allah Muhammad Iqbal. He informed that audience that there existed an excellent teamwork at the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust, which, at the moment, was running the Ideological Summer School, in which 275 students were being groomed. They are being informed about the supreme acts of sacrifice offered to achieve Pakistan. He called upon the Chief Minister of the Punjab, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, to make the ideological education an essential part of the curriculum.
Kashmir, the jugular vein of Pakistan should be freed from the clutches of India. If we fail to complete the construction of the Kalabagh Dam, we shall have to import our food from abroad. He remarked that the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan was a gift from the saintly Chief Minister of the Punjab, Ghulam Hyder Waeen. Mian Nawaz was invited on “Yaum-i-Takbeer” every year because it was he who adequately answered the atomic explosions made by India and made Pakistan invincible.
Professor Dr Rafique Ahmad, Vice Chairman of the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust, explained the performance of NPT with the help of multi-media aids. Seven ideological training workshops were held in which above 700 teachers from various districts and last year, 238 students from more than 110 educational institutions participated in the one-month annual Ideological Summer School and this year 275 students from 117 educational institutions are being groomed.
Former president of Pakistan Rafique Tarrar said the circle of the activities of the NPT was widening day by day and all the credit for this goes to Majid Nizami.
Renowned analyst, editor Mujibur Rehman Shami said that there were only two ideological states in the world, Israel and Pakistan. Israel was established by conspiracy, whereas Pakistan came into being through an open movement and struggle. He also appreciated the journalistic services of Dr Majid Nizami.
Former chief justice (r) Federal Shariat Court Mian Mehboob Ahmad, Mian Farooq Altaf, Akram Chishti, Waleed Iqbal advocate, Dr Shafiq Jalandhery and many others also spoke on the occasion.
The 8th session of the NPT Advisory Council congratulated Pakistan Muslim League Leader, Mian Nawaz Sharif, on ascending to premiership and Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on becoming Punjab Chief Minister and hoped that they would work day and night for the progress of the country.
Several resolutions were passed by the body demanding government to make the country a welfare state and improve law and order situation, so every citizen could live with peace.
