Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar Sunday assured that all genuine problems of the business community would be addressed on priority and merit.

Talking to APP, he said the PML-N government led by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif accorded great importance to the business community, a backbone of the national economy and all-out efforts would be made to stimulate business activities on war footings and accelerate pace of development in every sphere of life.

He said the best possible pro-poor, business-friendly and growth-oriented budget had been proposed in the prevailing scenario.

He said the PML-N government under the sagacious leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would strive hard for quick revival and strengthening of the national economy.

Ishaq Dar said,“ He knows very well the contribution and importance of the vital role of chambers of commerce and industries in improving economy as he himself remained president of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1991.”

He thanked the President,Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry,an apex body of chambers in the country and all other chambers across the country, including SAARC Chamber of Commerce Industry for welcoming the budget.

The federal finance minister categorically announced that the Prime Minister was fully determined to steer the country out of prevailing economic crunch and put it on the road to progress, development and prosperity with active participation of all stakeholders.

He made it clear that all viable proposals and suggestions put forthwith by the FPCCI and other affiliated trade bodies and associations would be given due weight on merit and hectic efforts would be made to address them on priority.
