WARBURTON

Rationalisation/reallocation of teaching posts has successfully been completed in district Nankana Sahib.

Executive District Officer (Education) Misbah Tallat said that rationalisation was based on students and teachers' ratio in the schools. The junior most teachers have been adjusted at nearby schools as per the requirement, she added.

She disclosed that now there was no shortage of teachers in any school after reallocation of teaching posts in the district. She constituted a rationalisation committee for transparency in the process. It comprised Javed Ashraf, president of Headmasters' Association, GHS Principal Muhammad Zahid, GHSS Principal Mirza Muhammad Salim Rukhsana Bhatti and Amjad Ali.  "The rationalisation of teachers has balanced the school infrastructure to much extent. However, the rationalisation of other staff in July would further improve the situation," she said.
