ISLAMABAD Punjab Police have recovered five-year old Pakistani origin British boy Sahil Saeed who was kidnapped from Jhelum some days ago. However, some circles are claiming that Sahils family paid huge ransom money to kidnappers for his release but DPO Jhelum denied this. A spokesman for British High Commission in Islamabad also confirmed that Sahil had been recovered, saying that he was safe and well. To a query regarding the ransom money, the spokesman refused to comment, saying, I cant comment on this. It is relevant to note here that boy did not appear before the media. DPO Jhelum Muhammad Azam said that boy had been recovered but he could not appear before the media under the mutual understanding between family and police. It is pertinent to mention here that Sahil was kidnapped on March 4 last from his ancestral home situated in district Jhelum after armed robbers held his family hostage at gunpoint.
