Black coats observe black day

LAHORE - Condemning the gruesome suicide attacks outside two churches in Youhanabad, the legal fraternity observed black day on Monday as a protest and expressed sympathies with the bereaved families.  
Both Pakistan Bar Council and Lahore High Court Bar Association, in their two different gatherings, condemned the terrorists for attacking worshipers in Churches. Black flags were hoisted on the bar premises and the lawyer wore black bands on their arms.
The lawyers expressed serious concerns over the prevailing law and order situation, urging the state authorities to arrest the perpetrators of the terrorism and bring them to justice.
The attack on churches and later lynching of two people brought a bad name to the country’s image –which surely was the result of state failure. Talking to Media, PPP leader Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan said that the attacks were condemnable but the lynching of two people was horrible.
Talking to media persons, PPP leader Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan said the terrorist attacks were highly condemnable but the lynching of two persons by Christian protestors was also another incident of terrorism. It was administrative failure due to which the said incident took place and innocent people lost their lives. Mr. Aitzaz appealed Christians to act patiently as the terrorists were terrorists before all the citizens.
Everyone at bar and courtrooms was seen with saddened faces, criticizing the law enforces agencies.
