LAHORE: Maulana Altaf Hussain Hali, a noble personality of Urdu literature, also founder of new poetry era was remembered at the Quaid e Azam Liberary in collaboration Punjab Public Library.

Speakers like Oria Maqbool Jan, Mujeeb re Rehman Shami, Dr Mujahid Kamran, Dr Tahseen Faraqi and others paid tribute to Hali.

Speaking on the reference in the memory of Altaf Hussain Hali in connection of his 100th death anniversary the speakers said change in the mindset of Maulana Altaf Hussain Hali narrated the bad situation of the Muslims, in his poetry, which is famous as “Mussadas-e-Hali”. He presented successful example of autobiography in Urdu literature. The traces of his poetry can be found from the poetry of modern era.–Staff Reporter
