Islamabad- Minister for Ports and Shipping Kamran Michael has underlined the need for unity to root out terrorism.

Talking to journalists, he said the country is in a state of war, where not only churches, but other worship places and schools are under attack. He said attack on Church is, in fact, an attack on the State.

The minister said terrorists are carrying out subversive activities, to achieve their nefarious designs.

Michael appealed to the Christian community not to get aggressive and register their protest in a peaceful manner. Meanwhile, Chairman World Minorities Alliance J. Salik says terrorism has become a serious threat and the nation needs more unity to confront the menace.
