Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday lashed out at Punjab government stating that Shehbaz Sharif has spent $900 million on education and health in Punjab, yet the situation of both sectors is miserable.

It's because the money is spent on advertisements, not on the people, otherwise, the situation would have been different.

Making trenchant remarks on the change of uniforms of Punjab Police Fawad Ch. said that the decision to change the uniform of police was incomprehensible as 24 million rupees were allocated for the process and now it's decided to get back the previous uniform.

Secretary PTI Fawad Ch.and senior leader Azam Khan Sawati has stated this while addressing an important press conference here at Islamabad.

Fawad went on slamming Shehbaz Sharif stating that in sasti roti scheme 40 billion rupees were spent and there is no audit, same is the case with Ashyana Scheme. The arrest of Ahad Cheema, he said, is another story of corruption.

“Millions of rupees were wasted on Danish Schools and Yellow Cab, and none of the schemes has been investigated, PTI leader lamented.

“Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf reserves the right to nominate its candidate for the opposition leader in the Upper House”, said Azam Khan Sawati.

He stated that election of Chairman Senate from Baluchistan is our victory. Terming PPP’s Sherry Rehman’s letter to Chairman Senate extralegal, Azam Khan Sawati stated that it’s the second version of notorious “Calibri Font”. He maintained that independent senators of FATA have yet to decide their affiliation.

Commenting on cases against Sharifs in the accountability court, Fawad Ch. stated that the cases against Sharifs are in their last phase, the family has admitted to own property in London, Hassan Nawaz has admitted having to own 16 companies in which 300 billion rupees were transferred.

“There conviction is evident and Sharif family is aware of the fact, he said adding that Nawaz Sharif has hidden his sons in London and bringing Maryam Nawaz in proceedings to play women card and victim card later on.

Regarding caretaker setup for the upcoming elections, he said that PPP has asked PTI's suggestion and we will actively participate in the process. “We have to suggest names for caretaker Chief Ministers of Punjab and KP”, he concluded.
