RAWALPINDI - The deputy commissioner of Rawalpindi has announced March 22 a holiday in the city and Cantt and Garrison for schools and private offices due to the 48th Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers. In a notification, issued here, it is said, “The competent authority has declared Tuesday, the 22nd March 2022 as public holiday in Territory of Tehsil Rawalpindi Cantonments on the occasion of the 48th Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers conference being held in Islamabad on March 23 Pakistan Day Parade in the larger public interest.” The DC said government offices in Rawalpindi would remain closed on Tuesday.
