At least 8 militants were killed, one-security personnel embraced martyrdom and seven were injured during clashes between the security forces and the militants here in Lower Orakzai Agency on Monday. According to media reports, the militants attacked at the security force's check posts located in Khawastoori Khail an area of Lower Orakzai Agency killing one security personnel and injuring seven. The security forces retaliated killing 8 militants on the spot. Sources told this news agency that migration of the residents of the area is underway. According to government sources, at least 214 militants have been killed and 168 injured while, 15 personnel of the security forces including two officials embraced martyrdom during operation in Karzai Agency during last ten days.
