LAHORE - Funeral of former Advocate General Punjab, Raza Farooq, who had passed away in Islamabad due to cardiac arrest on Friday, was held at Model Town here on Sunday. Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Chief Justice Lahore High Court, Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif, attorney general of Pakistan, deputy attorney general, judges of Supreme Court and high court, leaders of the political parties and a large number of people belonging to various strata offered Namaz-e-Janaza, held at park in front of his residence. Raza Farooq advocate, 42, was the son of former Attorney General of Pakistan Ch Muhammad Farooq and nephew of Supreme Court Judge, Justice Khalil ur Rehman Ramday. He left behind a widow and a son. He was in Islamabad to appear before the Supreme Court in connection with a case.
