QUETTA - Two people were killed in a landmine blast at Dera Bugti on Sunday. Ahmed Bakhsh and Dodil Bugti were riding a motorbike in Pelaugh area when it struck a landmine. As a result, both died on the spot. Police rushed to the site and took the bodies to hospital for autopsy. Police handed over the bodies to heir after completing legal formalities and started investigation . In another incident, five people were wounded when unidentified people hurled a hand grenade at house located at Brewery Road of Quetta. The hand grenade landed inside the house with huge explosion and wounded five persons including Ghulam Akbar, Bilal, Imran, Nazir, and Irfan Ali. They were rushed to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital for treatment. The injured are stated to be residents of Punjab. Police have registered a case and started investigation. Meanwhile, defunct Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed the responsibility for the hand grenade attack in Quetta.
