NOORPUR THAL-The district police will make all-out efforts to protect the life and property of the common man. The police will neither show slackness, or negligence in the discharge of this noble duty.

Addressing an open court held at Jaura Kalan Police Station, DPO Faisal Gulzar said that policing is a noble profession and only by serving the masses, the image of the police could be enhanced. He said that provision of prompt justice to people and protection of life and property of citizens is the prime responsibility of police. The officers must perform their duty efficiently and honestly and let the masses realise that they are their guardians.

He further said that the gap between the public and police could be bridged by providing immediate relief to the complainants. He said that the district police want to solve public problems at their doorstep and the doors of the DPO office are always open for the public.

The DPO said that modern information technology can help improve system of provision of justice to citizens at police stations. He said that special attention will have to be paid to the capacity-building of police force for harmonizing it with the demands of the modern age.

Faisal Gulzar directed the police officers to furnish reports on issues resolved through the open courts on fortnightly basis for monitoring purpose. He instructed the officers that no negligence and delay will be tolerated in providing timely justice to people. The DPO also listened to the public complaints and ordered the officials concerned to resolve their problems.

DSP Kalib-e-Abbas Khan Baloch, Jamali Balocan UC Chairman Sardar Ali Hussain Khan Baloch and Chairman UC Khair Malik Ehsan Qadir Majokla also attended the open court.
