MIRPUR (AJK)-Amidst full-throated slogans in support of Pakistan and the valiant armed forces, hundreds of Kashmiri people staged a 'Pakistan Zindabad' rally and renewed the pledge not to hesitate to make any sacrifice for the integrity of motherland.
They pledged to give sacrifices of even their lives and properties for the sovereignty and security of every inch of the motherland shoulder to shoulder with the brave armed forces of the country as and whenever is required.
Despite the scorching heat, the rally started from Quaid-i-Azam Chowk in the city under the auspices of President of Markazi Anjuman e Tajran (Ittehad group) Chaudhry Mahmood. The others attends also included Sheikh Sarwar, former advisor to AJK Prime Minister Ch Haq Nawaz, M Ramazan and Faisal Mahmood Awan. The jubilant participants of the rally passed through Mian Muhammad Road and Allama Iqbal Road and converged into a public meeting at Central Shaheed Chowk.
The participants were holding national flags of Pakistan and banners bearing slogans of full solidarity with the valiant armed forces of Pakistan and all other patriotic forces of the motherland.
A large number of the jubilant people from almost all the segments of the society including members of the business fraternity, political and human rights activists, journalists, transporters, doctors, lawyers and others participated in the rally. They also prayed for early success of Kashmir freedom movemen.
Addressing the rally, speakers, the speakers emphasised that it was high time for the entire nation to get united under one flag to frustrate the internal and external threats to the ideological and geographical frontiers of the beloved motherland - Pakistan.
The speakers said that the mass public rally was the reiteration of full solidarity with the valiant armed forces of Pakistan including Army, Air Force and Navy. They said it was the renewal of the pledge that the people of Azad Jammu Kashmir stand united to frustrate every threat to the ideological and geographical boundaries of the country.
Addressing the mammoth congregation at Shaheed Chowk, Ch Mahmood said that the mammoth participation of the people from all walks of life to express heartiest affection with the armed forces of Pakistan is the ample proof that the hearts of the people of Azad Jammu Kashmir, Pakistan and the valiant armed forces of Pakistan beat in unison. The Kashmiris are fully prepared to make defence of Pakistan, he said.
He said Pakistan is a great country which was secured through lots of sacrifices of the lives under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
He continued that Pak Army attained the high distinction as the number one army of the world. He said that the supreme sacrifices of the valiant armed forces would not be allowed to go in vein. Mahmood underlined that the brave Pak Army vanished the terrorists and the menace of terrorism from nook and corner of the country including FATA and Balochistan.
Pakistan, he said, came into existence in the name of Islam. He warned that neither any individual, nor any tribe could be allowed to launch propaganda against the motherland. "We salute the supreme sacrifices of our valiant armed forces for fully ensuring defence of the ideological and geographical frontiers of the country in letter and spirit," he said.
Lambasting one Manzoor Pashteen, the Kashmiri trader said that the rebel was barking against Pakistan and the armed forces of the country at the behest of his masters including Indian, Israeli and Afghan secret agencies. He asked Pashteen where he was when Taliban were giving arms into the hands of the students by snatching books from them, and by getting Pashtuns out of their houses.
He emphasised a need for forging complete unity in the ranks to frustrate every internal or external threat to the country . He said that the people of Jammu & Kashmir always gave sacrifices for the security, stability and sovereignty of Pakistan and will establish the same spirit as and when needed.
He said that delivering speech at the stage is an easy job. But giving the supreme sacrifice was very tough job. It could be performed only by the valiant troops, he added. He pointed out that the terrorists killed most of Pashtuns during their cowardly acts of terrorism in FATA and other adjoining areas. They continued that valiant armed forces of Pakistan eliminated terrorists from their roots. "When the terrorists have been eliminated by the Pak Army from their roots, the foreign-paid rebel Manzoor Pasheen has started seeing army behind the terrorism," they observed.
They said India and Afghanistan are the major cause of terrorism in Pakistan. They added that when terrorism had vanished from the soil of Pakistan, Manzoor Pashteen was launched in Pakistan being new "weapon" of terrorism by the enemies.
Reiterating full solidarity with the brave armed forces of the country, the speakers said that the people are fully at the back of their valiant armed forces for ensuring the foolproof defence and security of the ideological and geographical frontiers of the country all the time.
They said that the armed forces of Pakistan were the only solid rock for the defence of Pakistan which is always atop and dearer to every child of the state of Jammu & Kashmir living at both sides of the Line of Control.
They said that the people of Jammu & Kashmir were always prepared to give sacrifice for the defence of Pakistan in case of any foreign aggression to the frontiers of the country. They concluded that Kashmiris would not hesitate from giving any sacrifice for the sake of the security and solidarity of Pakistan.
Demos dub Nawaz a ‘puppet of Modi’
MULTAN-The activists of Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) and Baloch Ittehad Council staged two separate demonstrations against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his statement regarding Mumbai attacks here on Wednesday.
The activists of DPC assembled up at Nawaz Shehr Chowk and shouted slogans against Nawaz Sharif, India and Israel. They were also holding placards and banners inscribed with their demands regarding action against Nawaz Sharif.
Speaking on the occasion, DPC leaders Mian Sohail and others said that Nawaz Sharif acted as a puppet of Modi. They maintained that the former premier issued such statements on Indian behest to bring Pakistan under international sanctions. They said that Nawaz Sharif tried to defend his misleading statement instead of seeking pardon from the nation. They said that the enemies of Pakistan want to weaken country's defence but the nation would foil these conspiracies. They said that Nawaz Sharif kept mum on Indian atrocities in Kashmir and Kulbhushan which is condemnable.
Meanwhile, the members of Baloch Ittehad Council brought out a rally against former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for his controversial statement on Mumbai attacks and demanded action against him under Article 6.
The rally begun from Nawan Shehr Chowk and ended at Multan Press Club. The protesters were led by the chairman of the council Sardar Irfan Khan Rind who carried out nonstop sloganeering against Nawaz Sharif.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Irfan Rind and others said that Nawaz Sharif hurt the sentiments of millions of Pakistanis and it should be condemned. They added that the statement was a pack lies and allegations which brought embarrassment to Pakistan. They said that Nawaz Sharif had gone off his mind and was speaking India's language to seek refuge abroad. He said that criticism on national institutions was also part of the same script as Nawaz Sharif wanted to escape punishment in corruption cases. They declared that the council would thwart all conspiracies against Pakistan and its institutions and offer all sacrifices for the country. They demanded registration of treason case against Nawaz Sharif and launching of trial under Article 6.
