ISLAMABAD -  Former interior minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz central leader Ch Nisar Ali cautioned the party leadership to have prudent view of the ground realities as the decisions taken in haste and with anger could result into a serious damage to the party and the country.

In his first reaction to the hostile position taken by former premier and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif toward the state institutions, Ch. Nisar said,” anger and confrontation are not a solution to any problem.”

Previously too after his (Nawaz) remarks about the Mumbai terror attacks, Ch. Nisar came up with detailed view on the issue and explained that India and not Pakistan responsible for the delay in the Mumbai terror attacks trial pending in a court here.

“It’s a matter of grave concern that our government was first faced with the issue of the finality of Prophethood (PBUH) and now allegations of treason are being levelled [against us],” he said, referring to a controversy surrounding Nawaz Sharif’s interview.

He said that politicians should find solutions based on principles.

Nisar said that if confrontations continued, not only the party but country would face serious repercussions. The senior PML-N leader is at odds with party leadership on host of issues following the revelations of Panama Papers and disqualification of Nawaz Sharif in the case.
