ISLAMABAD - The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued show cause notice to those LPG marketing companies whose authorised distributors were found involved in LPG prices overcharging. According to a statement issued here on Tuesday, the OGRA inspection team on October 7 conducted surprise inspections at the authorised distributors of LPG marketing companies at Rawat, Chakwal and Kallar Sayedan with the primary objective to ensure that the sale prices of LPG cylinder were not exceeding the price notified by the LPG marketing companies and OGRA. During the inspections, 18 authorised LPG distributors were inspected and it was observed that 14 were primarily found involved in overcharging. Later the OGRA issued show cause notice to the LPG marketing companies.
