LAHORE- Prof Zafar Ullah Chaudhry, President CPSP, chaired an important meeting on filling up the gap of emergency medicine specialists at CPSP Regional Center Lahore on Tuesday. Senior medical specialists from across the country also attended the meeting. Dr Asif Abbas Naqvi, dr James E Bold and Dr OI Tunde Ashaolu also attended the meeting from UK on special invitation. The participants of the meeting deliberated upon the provision of specialists in this important discipline. The president CPSP also announced fellowship program in the discipline of Emergency Medicine. A few specialists trained from America and England are present in the country. With the commencement of this fellowship program, the major hospitals of the country would have emergency medicine specialists. A team from UK interviewed the candidates and offered training slots with handsome emoluments in UK. Prof Zafar said CPSP would provide specialists doctors in all fields and would also make arrangements for their training abroad.
