OKARA - The Kissan Board Pakistan central president has said according India the most favoured nation status would cut the farmers to the bone. The government should review its decision of declaring India an ideal country for trade else the Kisan Board would announce a countrywide movement against the declaration, he said. Addressing a press conference, accompanied by KBP Sahiwal Division President Capt Dr Liaqat Ali Kausar, Sardar Zafar Hussain Advocate said at present, the farmers were facing desperate situation due to price hike. If the government does not cut down rates of diesel, fertilisers and electricity, the situation will went from bad to worse like Somalia, he added. Separately, the advocate and Capt Liaqat presided over a meeting in Rehmatullah Town. In the meeting, the KBP district Okara was reorganised. Muhammad Hussain Joiya of Bahripur was elected as district president, Fida Muhammad Advocate as Depalpur tehsil president and Chaudhry Fateh Muhammad was appointed vice president of the district.
