KHANEWAL - A loving couple burnt themselves following failure to marry. The girl died while the youth is struggling for life at Nishtar Hospital Multan. According to detail, Nabeela, daughter of Mushtaq and Muhammad Asif, son of Hakim Ansari, a resident of Chak 78B/15L tehsil Mian Channu had fallen in love with each other, and wanted to marry. Parents of Nabeela, however, were against their wish and married her off to another man of their will without her consent. Frustrated over her parents decision, the desperate girl along with her beloved committed suicide by setting themselves ablaze. They were rushed to DHQ Hospital and then referred to Nishter Hospital Multan in critical condition. Wednesday morning Nabeela succumbed to burns while Asif is in precarious condition.
