LAHORE - The Lahore High Court has been approached through an application seeking to summon of former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi for recording his statement that he was pressurized to give diplomatic immunity to CIA contractor Raymond Davis, who had killed two Pakistani youths. A local lawyer filed this application in his an already pending main petition on the issue whether Davis was entitled to immunity. The petitioner stated that Mr Qureshi had alleged that he refused to bow down pressure over giving diplomatic immunity to Davis because the CIA contractor was not an ambassador.
