QUETTA - Three people, including a woman were killed and six others wounded in separate incidents of violence in different towns of Balochistan on Wednesday. According to police, unidentified armed men riding a motorbike opened indiscriminate firing on an 18-year old boy at Haider colony, located on Sabzal Road of Quetta. As a result, he sustained critical wounds and succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The assailants escaped from the scene after killing the teenager. Police party rushed to the site after being informed and shifted the body to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital (BMCH) for autopsy where he was identified as Fawad Awan. Separately, police recovered a bullet-riddled body of a 55-year-old person from Qambarani Road. Police said the deceased was killed by unidentified people and threw his body. The body was taken to BMCH for autopsy. Sources at the hospital said the victim was hit by a bullet in head that caused his instant death. Police after completing the legal formalities moved the body to hospitals morgue for identity. However, motive behind both killings is yet to be ascertained. In another incident, a woman was killed in Chaman, a bordering town near Afghanistan. Levies Force sources said a woman, resident of Killi Torghundi area of Chaman was tortured to death. Levies personnel shifted body to hospital for autopsy. Levies at the request of deceaseds parents registered a case against her in-laws. Meanwhile, six people were wounded at Gaznali area of Nushki district after two tribal groups attacked each other with sticks and rods over a land dispute. The injured were shifted to district hospital Nushki for treatment.
