It has been reported in the last several months that a number of gangsters have made the lives of the poor students miserable in front of the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) and the adjacent area. They snatch fees and valuables from poor students. This is a regular practice but no one has come to the rescue of students. These gangsters freely roam in and outside the board office all the day without any fear.

Despite requests from the BIEK to the authorities, no action has been taken. The authorities concerned should look into the matter and set up a permanent Rangers checkpost in front of the main gate of BIEK and its adjacent area to protect students as well as their parents who accompany their children.
