PML-N leaders strongly criticise PTI’s boycott of Parliament

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique strongly criticised the Pakistan Tehtrik-e-Insaf (PTI) over boycott of joint session of Parliament on Thursday saying, “PTI’s members got remuneration from the parliament and even then they boycott the parliament.”

Talking to media outside Supreme Court (SC) building the Railways minister said that PTI’s counsel presented Prime Minister’s point of view better than them adding that judges again and again pointed PTI’s counsel Hamid Khan to present relevant arguments. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will succeed in the proceedings.

The minister said that the PTI also boycotted the joint session of the parliament which was called on Kashmir issue adding that “PTI is making Jews happy by boycotting the joint session of the parliament today”. Rafique further said that Turkey is our brotherly country and PTI must have attended the today’s session.

He said: “if Imran khan wanted to express his anger then he should choose some other opportunity for it”.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Senator Mushahidullah Khan alleged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to be in contact with Turkey’s US-based cleric FethullahGulen.

In an interview, the PML-N leader wondered, “At whose behest did the PTI boycott the joint session of the Parliament?”

Despite the meeting with Turkey’s ambassador, the PTI leadership did not reverse boycott decision as they have contacts with Turkey’s rebel group led by Gulen.
