LAHORE - The schedule of the second edition of the Majid Nizami Sports Gala was announced here on Thursday.
The snooker event is going to start today in which players of Nawa-i-Waqt, The Nation, Waqt News, Family Magazine, Nida-i-Millat, Phool Magazine and others departments of Nawa-i-Waqt Group will take part.
From November 19, badminton event will commence at the Shapes Fitness Centre and from November 21, cricket event will begin while football event will start from November 25.
The sports gala patrons include Managing Director Rameeza Majid Nizami, Director Finannce Azam Badar, GM Legal Department Mujahid Hussain Syed, Editor The Nation Salim Bokhari, GM Marketing Bilal Mehmood, Nawa-i-Waqt Editorial In-charge Saeed Aasi and Chief News Editor Dilawar Abbas.
Two committees are also formed to conduct the gala in a befitting manner as sports committee consists of Qaisor Nadeem, Hasham Yousaf and Nadeem Basra while organising committee is comprised of Riaz Bhatti, Nadeem Siddiqui, Usman Masood, Mehfooz Anjum and Malik Mushtaq.
