Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that the role of Sindh Rangers and other law enforcing agencies (LEAs) for improved security environment is laudable.
According to a press release, issued here by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa stated this while speaking during his visit to Headquarters Pakistan Rangers, Sindh.
Sindh Rangers director general gave a detailed briefing about the security situation of the province, including law and order of Karachi.
Appreciating efforts of the Rangers and all other law enforcing agencies, the Army Chief said that Karachi was the national economy’s engine and the army shall further improve security environment so that positive business trajectory is maintained.
Commander Karachi Corps Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz accompanied the COAS during the visit.
