DPO urges media to help curb crimes

CHANGA MANGA  - District Police Officer Sohaib Ashraf asked journalists to give a helping hand to police force to help curb crimes. 

He was talking to a delegation of journalists at his office. The delegation was led by District Press club Kasur. Sardar Sharif Sohdal and Rana Mansoor Ahmed assured that local media persons would help bridge the gap between police and public with the aim to curb crimes and eliminate social and moral evils.

Dr Fazal Raheem, Freelance journalist Kamran Ashraf, Zafar Iqbal, Malik Sharafat Ali, and other journalists attended the meeting.  The DPO asked the journalists to educate people about their role and duty in eradication of crimes.  The journalists should motivate people to cooperate with police to help curb social and moral ills from the society.
