The joint sitting of both houses of Parliament continued on Friday on the issues of national security and war against terror. Speaker National Assembly Fehmida Mirza presided over the session while once again attendance of the lawmakers remained thin in today's session. Jahangir Tareen, Khwaja Asif and Senator Wasim Sajjad opened the debate. They criticized the government's policy on war on terror and opposed the use of force in tribal areas. Federal Information Minister Sherry Rehman answered the queries raised by the parliamentarians in the session which lasted for almost three hours. Later, Speaker Fehmida Mirza adjourned the session till Monday noon.
