Taliban militants shot dead an Afghan man in a restive Pakistani tribal area, accusing him of spying for the US, an official said Friday. The body of Wali Badshah, 35, was found on Friday on the roadside near Miranshah, the main town of the North Waziristan region bordering Afghanistan, a local government official said. Khan, who was from Afghanistan's Khost province, was shot in the head and his hands were also chopped off. "A note found on his body said all those spying for the US will suffer the same fate," the official added. Militants have killed several tribesmen, accusing them of spying on their activities on behalf of the Pakistani government and US forces operating across the border in Afghanistan.
