OUR STAFF REPORTER NOORPUR THAL - The Punjab government has been striving to promote education in the far-flung areas of the province and all-out efforts will be made to raise the standard and quality of education. The government has allocated record funds for the promotion of education and poor but intelligent student have been awarded and encouraged to end illiteracy from the province. This was stated by Iqbal Ahmad Bhatti, has been appointed as Headmaster in Govt High School Mohallah Farooqabad. He is an illustrious educationist. He has served as Assistant Education Officer for a long time. After taking the charge of his post in his exclusive interview with TheNation, he said that he would try my best to make GHS NPT as an exemplary institution. He said that he had adopted a policy to facilitate the teaching staff and students to improve the quality of education. He thanked MPA Malik Muhammad Waris Kallu. Who provided a special grant for the up-gradation of the Govt High School. He also lauded the best cooperation of local PTU leaders M Allah Ditta Javed, Malik Akhtar Hussain Kallu and all the staff members who were trying their best for the betterment of the school. He said that he had requested the teachers to take objective work from the students so that they could learn more and more. Besides, he said that all his teachers here were the king makers and his duty was to lead them and he had been leading them with best of my capabilities. Describing about the problems, headmaster briefed in detail we are facing a lot of problems. There are lying vacant two posts of general SST, and EST vernacular. Further, it is very essential to create one post of SST, one post of EST and one post of PST, because the strength of students increasing rapidly. Co-curricular activities are also affected because there is no facility of any playground. Moreover, an examination hall should be built in the school, he added.
