LAHORE Pakistan Rangers Punjab on Sunday foiled a bid to smuggle Indian liquor into Pakistan and seized 26 bottles of liquor while trespassers managed to flee towards Indian side. Rangers authorities have registered a case against unknown people. Spokesman of the Rangers said that Rangers patrolling party was on its routine patrol when its officials saw two persons entering in Pakistani side from India on Kalakhatai border area. The patrolling party challenged them on which they managed to go back on Indian side leaving a bundle on Pakistani side. The patrolling party after taking the bundle into custody recovered 26 bottles Indian liquor from it. It is worth mentioning here that Pakistan Rangers Punjab seized 615 bottles liquor within last three months and arrested seven people trying to smuggle the same from India to Pakistan.
