LAHORE Jamaat-e-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hassan has said that if the western nations do not change their anti-Islam outlook, millions of Osamas would be born in the Muslim Ummah against their oppression and tyranny. Addressing the Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba convention at the Punjab University ground on Sunday, he said that all the systems put forth by the West against Islam including Communism, Socialism and Nationalism had perished one by one and Islam alone was capable of solving the problems of humanity and removing its deprivations. Syed Munawar Hasan, however, clarified that the JI was not against the American people, it was only against the anti-Islam and anti-Muslim policies of Pentagon, and Whitehouse. Prominent leaders from other parties including JUPs Sahibzada Abul Khair Zubair, Awami Muslim Leagues Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Jamat-ul-Dawas Maulana Amir Hamza, PPPs Jehangir Badar, Baloch Nationalist Partys Abdul Haye Baloch, JUI(S)s Qudratullah Arif, JI Azad Kashmir chief Abdur Rashid Turabi, Tanzeem-e-Islamis Hafiz Aakif Saeed, and JI Secretary General Liaquat Baloch also addressed on the occasion. Syed Munawar Hasan said the US, had entered the Afghanistan in a big way ten years ago, was now begging for dialogue with the Taliban. He said that the Western civilisation had been defeated in the clash of civilisations and Zardari, Gilani and Gen Kayani would also have to abandon the US slavery. He said the anti-Islam forces in the country had been dreaming of demolishing the ideological character of the country to enforce the western culture but they could not achieve their evil designs in the presence of the IJT. He said that Islam was emerging as a strong power not only in Pakistan but also all over the world as all efforts to change this course had failed. The JI chief said that about 60 per cent of Pakistanis population comprised of youth which had risen against the corruption, and injustice of the rulers. He said the IJT youth had offered valuable sacrifices in the Kashmir liberation movement, Afghan Jehad and also against the US interference in the country, adding that the future of Pakistan largely depended on the IJT. Secretary General PPP Jahangir Badar said that PPPs leadership was struggling for reconciliation in the country. While speaking on the occasion, AML chief Sheikh Rashid said incumbent setup could not bring any change in the country. He said the masses were looted in the name of democracy. Liaquat Baloch said the IJT was the vanguard for getting rid of the US slaves ruling the country, and for an Islamic revolution in the country. Maulana Amir Hamza said those who greeted the Russians and raised slogans of Asia is Red, had realised that Asia was green and not red. IJT Nazim-e-Aala Syed Abdu-ur-Rasheed and former Nazimeen of IJT also addressed on the occasion.
