Former Federal Minister Dr Babar Awan has said that dissolution of Punjab Assembly can not delay the Senate elections. Talking to journalists here in Islamabad on Monday, he said that the Senate elections would be held on fixed date if the provincial assembly would even dissolved, as polls for upper house are the legal requirement instead of political necessity. He said that Nawaz Sharif could not be succeeded in his plan to dissolve the Punjab Assembly or postponing the Senate election. He was of the view that PML (N) is not a political party but it is the cartel comprising wealthy elements. The raising slogans of 'Go Zardari Go makes no difference because people know all the game well as the real face of PML (N) has been unveiled. They cannot make the people fool for long time. The same person gave advice to the Nawaz Sharif for dissolution of Punjab assembly, who earlier suggested to promote Pervez Musharraf as Chief of Army Staff out of turn, he added
