PML-N not to dissolve Punjab Assembly: MNA

OUR STAFF REPORTER SIALKOT - PML-N leader and MNA Zahid Hamid has said that his party would never try to derail democracy in Pakistan, nor would it dissolve the Punjab Assembly ahead of the forthcoming Senate elections. Talking to the media, he said that the PML-N always fought for the rights of the masses and would never do any undemocratic act. He said that PML-N Chief Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had kept opened doors for all who wished to join or re-join the party. Hamid added that the N-League would get majority in the Senate with the active cooperation of other political parties during the coming Senate polls. He claimed that the PML-N had become voice of the masses against the unending mounted political atrocities of the incumbent rulers. He alleged that the PPP rulers were plundering national exchequer by leaps and bounds. Crippling outages back on track: After the week-long relief to the perturbed masses in the wake of violent protests and riots, the Gepco has restarted the loadshedding of electricity in here. Talking to the newsmen in Uggoki here, PML-N MPA Liaqat Ali Ghuman expressed grave concern over the power outages. Gepco had started power loadshedding, as electricity supply remained suspended for four hours after every hour. This circuit continued round the clock in all the urban and rural areas of Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils. When contacted, Gepco Sialkot officials said that the power supply was being suspended direct from Islamabad and they were trying to get a schedule of power outages for giving maximum relief to the industries.
