SHEIKHUPURA - The outlaws snatched six motorcycles, cash, cellphones, gold ornaments and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees in different strikes here in the district.

According to reports, Hafiz Muhammad Jamil along with his mother was on the way back home. When they reached near Kala Shah Kaku, veiled dacoits stopped them and deprived of them of cash, cell phone and motorcycle. Similarly in Chak 32, armed dacoits stopped Aftab Ahmad on gunpoint and snatched cash, cell phone and bike from him. In another strike occurred in Chak Warriach in the limit of Narang Mandi Police, bandits deprived Zahid Ali and his wife of cash, cell phone and gold ornaments when they were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony.

Meanwhile, armed dacoits robbed one Shafiq of his brand new bike. The culprits also snatched cash and cell phone from him.  In the jurisdiction of Kotly Virkan Police, a dacoit snatched a bike, cash and a cell phone from one man Taqi after punching him severely. While in Shahdra the outlaws deprived Latif and Imran of their motorcycles and other valuables on gunpoint. The police have started investigation as usual.

WORKSHOP OWNER BOOKED: The Factory Area Police registered a case against a workshop owner under Dengue Act. The case was lodged following presence of dengue larva from the workshop premises owned by Sohail Ahmed.
