LAHORE - PepsiCo Pakistan donated a specially built up football field to The Citizen’s Foundation School’s. This is part of PepsiCo’s endeavor to improve the state of education in Pakistan and also to support healthier lifestyles. A ceremony was held to inaugurate the field. Qasim Khan, General Manager and President for North and South Asia Business Unit was the chief guest on the occasion, says a press release. Qasim Khan said that PepsiCo Pakistan has always been at the forefront of CSR activities in Pakistan. Our focus has been wide ranging and includes developing education standards, emergency relief and rehabilitation, health, environment and promoting sporting activities. In Education PepsiCo has an excellent relationship with TCF which is a partner of choice. PepsiCo has worked with TCF to build 3 schools and has recently sponsored 3 more schools in the flood impacted areas of 2010. PepsiCo employees regularly spend volunteer hours at TCF schools under their “helping hands programs”, he added.
