President PML-N and Opposition Leader Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and National Accountability Beauru (NAB) are working together.
He expressed these views while addressing the National Assembly session in Islamabad.
Talking to the floor of the house Shahbaz said, I would like to pay my regards to NA Speaker Asad Qaiser for rising above the party politics and issuing my production orders.
Shahbaz also thanked his fellow parliamentarians for their support including PPP's Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, leaders of the Awami National Party and MMA, National Party member Hasil Bizenjo and 'all friends'.
Shahbaz claimed that the NAB is targeting opposition parties, "I will not talk about the merits of my case, but I want to discuss the 'unholy' alliance between government and NAB", Shahbaz added.
The PML-N president said, "Imran is not an elected PM rather he has been 'selected' and he is the product of electoral rigging".
Commenting on the results of the by-polls the opposition said, the results of the by-elections once again proved that masses still love PML-N and the general election of July 25 were rigged.
"The seats PM Imran left vacant were won by PML-N, which shows that the general election was rigged and there is no other explanation for such a big change in just two months."
"I want to tell you that I have burnt the midnight oil to bring peace and prosperity in Punjab, my hands are clean and all the allegations against me are baseless," he told.
"NAB officers told me there are no graft charges against me", he further added.
Elaborating on his allegations, Shahbaz said, "terrorism cases were filed against me on May 13 and NAB prepared my arrest orders between July 5-6. However, the decision to arrest me was implemented ahead of the by-polls so it could serve a purpose."
Earlier today, the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, who has been in the NAB's custody since October 5 in connection to the Ashiana Housing Scheme case.
Last week, NA Speaker Asad Qaiser issued Shehbaz's production orders. Wednesday's NA session has been summoned on a requisition of PML-N leaders, shortly after Shahbaz's arrest.
On October 5th, NAB arrested former chief minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif in 'Ashiana Company' case.

The NAB alleged that the former CM has misused his authority during his tenure as Punjab chief minister and involved in corruption.
According to the media sources, NAB had summoned Shahbaz to appear before it at 11 am today and was detained when he appeared at the bureau's office later during the day to record his statement.
