Monetary policy on 29th

KARACHI (Reuters) - The SBP will announce on Sept. 29 its monetary policy for the subsequent two months, Syed Wasimuddin, chief spokesman for the State Bank of Pakistan, said on Thursday. In the last monetary policy review on July 30, the central bank increased it key policy rate by 50 basis points to 13 percent as inflation and fiscal weakness were overshadowing improvement in the current account deficit and economic growth.
