There seems to be a great contradiction in our media, the faces of criminals are hidden but the faces of the victims are portrayed and published and telecasted again and again. I do not understand why the faces of criminals are hidden as we should all be able to recognize them and the victims should get some relief by not being publicized. The poor have no rights and when a heinous crime such as rape occurs the victim’s family is shown on television as well as the pictures given in papers and this remains with them for a lifetime.
