ISLAMABAD - Balochistan National Party-Awami (BNP-Awami) Tuesday joined the sit-in of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) and also established a protest camp of the party at the protest venue.

An official statement issued from PTI’s Central Secretariat said that senior Vice President of BNP-Awmi Dr Ahsan Shah along with his party workers has joined the protest sit-in of PTI. BNP-Awami had also established its protest camp to show solidarity with the protesting PTI.

Dr Ahsan Shah had contested election against Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik. PTI Chief Imran Khan some days back had asked his supporters that Dr Abdul Malik also won election through rigging. Dr Shah has also been alleging massive rigging in his constituency.

A sitting Senator Kalsoom Perveen also belonged to BNP-Awmi who is part of the political jirga that is playing the role of a facilitator between the government and the protesting parties Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf(PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT).
