NA body for early completion of EOBI projects

ISLAMABAD - The National Assembly Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistan and Human Resource Development on Wednesday stressed early completion of the ongoing projects of Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) and sought the detail report of its all projects. The NA Body met under Chairmanship of Mir Aamer Ali Khan Magsi Member National Assembly to consider the matter regarding detailed briefing on all projects (ongoing pending and future) of EOBI.
Member committee Rana Muahammad Afzal Khan, Chaudary Abid Raza, Syed Sajid Medhi, Mian Imtiaz Ahmad, Saniha Naazir, Shakila Khalid Luqman, Musarat Rafique Mahesar, Shagufta Jumani, Aliya Kamran, Suraiya Jatoi, MNAs and Pir Sadrudding Shah Rashdi, Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and HRD were attended the meeting. The committee was briefed regarding ongoing and future projects of EOBI.
The committee recommended that the ongoing projects should be completed on priority and no new project should be launched till the completion of ongoing projects by the EOBI.
The committee recommended that the detailed list of complete projects and income earned from these projects be provided in the next meeting.
The meeting was informed that the summary for posting of commercial welfare attache for Malaysia was yet to be made. The Federal Secretary Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development has informed the committee that the commercial welfare attache in Malaysia was terminated. He said that the summary of new appointments of Commercial attaché has been sent to Prime Minster for his approval but he did not give approval of new appointments so far.
