ISLAMABAD - Chief of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, MNA Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif yesterday discussed overall political situation in the country with specific reference to the developments taking place in Balochistan.

In the meeting which was held in Prime Minister’s House, a host of political issues came under discussion including the efforts being made by the Balochistan government to bring back the estranged Baloch leaders in mainstream politics.

Sources aware of the deliberations of the meeting informed that the working of coalition government in the province, law and order situation and pace of development projects underway in the province also figured in the meeting.

Sources said that PkMAP chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai, considered to be the trusted fellow of Prime Minster, also have a word with Premier on the MQM MPs’ resignations and both of them were of the view that MQM should review its decision and would return back in the Parliament and raise their concern and issues at the platform of Parliament.
