Rwalpindi-The girls outshone the boys by clinching top three positions in Higher Secondary School Certificates (HSSC) annual examinations 2016 held under aegis of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi.

BISE Rawalpindi yesterday issued the list of the top position holders and the result will formally announced today (Saturday) at the Government Viqar-un-Nisa College at 10am.

Punjab Minister for Labour and Manpower Raja Ashfaq Sarwar will be the chief guest, informed board’s spokesman.

According to the results of toppers, students from Chakwal district clinched second two positions. Rawalpindi’s Punjab College for Women Satellite Yusra Bint-e-Hafeez got first position while securing 1041 marks, Munir Intermediate Girls College Mohalla Line Park Chakwal’s Nimra Mumtaz got 1040 marks and obtained second position while third position clinched by Chakwal’s Punjab College for Girls’ Maleeka Zamurad Khan with 1034 marks. Similarly, a student of Rawalpindi Jinnah Institute of Informatics, Commerce and Sciences namely Mahnoor Mahmood of Pre-Engineering Group got first position by securing 1025 marks among girls while Muhammad Hanzala of Pre-Engineering Group bagged first position by obtaining 1018 marks first position among boys. Akbar Husain, student of I Com Commerce Group took second position by scoring 933 marks.
